Dr. Conroy has participated in more than 460 professional presentations at the local, state, national, and international levels since 1976.  He has delivered presentations to scientific groups, advocacy groups, self-advocates, legislative bodies, and judicial proceedings, including the United States Senate, legislatures in California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washingtonstate, as well as the Finance Ministry of Lithuania and the Moscow Duma.  The kinds of presentations have included speeches to lay audiences, technical workshops, training seminars, courtroom testimony, testimony before legislative bodies, radio and television appearances, participation in panel discussions at advocacy conferences, and presentations at professional conferences.  Public media presentations have included interviews by the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Weekly, National Public Radio, the Chicago Tribune, public television, public radio, Philadelphia’s NBC News, the ABC Evening News with Peter Jennings, Nightline with Ted Koppel, and 60 Minutes with Ed Bradley.
